There are three different modules (1. Advanced Methods, 2. Knowledge Acquisition, Representation and Processing, 3. Learning and Reasoning) for your courses plus the seminars, laboratories, general studies, internship and your master thesis in the study plan. For each of the three modules and general studies, you need at least 6 Credit Points (CP). Whereas in seminars and laboratories, you need 6 to 12 CP. For starting your thesis, you need at least 78 CP. However, to complete your degree and graduate, you need at least 120 CP.

Summary: During the FSR AI meeting on 10th March 2025, the team discussed preparations for upcoming welcome sessions in April, including guest invitations, welcome bags, and promotional materials. Plans for the graduation and farewell events were initiated, along with ideas for party logistics and volunteer recruitment. Academic concerns such as course improvements and student surveys were addressed, and proposals were made to enhance communication through WhatsApp groups and a ticketing bot. Discussions also covered student representation, voting methods, and administrative coordination with university officials.
Summary: In the FSR AI meeting held on 21st February 2025, the team discussed a comprehensive yearly plan including a welcome session in April, technical and cultural events, networking opportunities, and strategies for student engagement. Key initiatives include AI workshops, collaboration with tech communities, cultural nights, career-focused seminars, and improved outreach through social media and newsletters. Administrative matters like increasing course quotas and structured event planning were also addressed to enhance student experience and participation at BTU.
Summary: On February 11, 2025, the newly elected FSR AI board convened to assign official roles through a ballot vote. Abdul Samad Mazari was elected President, with Usama Yousaf as Vice President and Emily Joy as Chief Financial Officer. Other key positions like Social Media Manager, Minute-Taker, and PR roles were also filled. The session included a structured handover by previous board members, covering guidelines, financial procedures, and the current budget status. The meeting ensured a smooth leadership transition for the upcoming term.
Summary: The General Assembly of the AI student body was held on February 10, 2025, with 194 students present—surpassing the required quorum. The assembly reviewed and voted on the agenda, evaluated the performance of the 2024 FSR AI board (which received majority approval), and conducted elections for the 2025 board. A 13-member board was voted in, with Usama Yousaf, Malik Muhammad Fahad, Aiman Tahir, and others elected based on adjusted vote counts. The session concluded with transparent voting and officially closed at 19:40.
